Home Modifications
We provide comprehensive assessments for access and safety within the home. We assist with undertaking major and minor modifications around the home such as grab rails, ramps, level entry showers, non-slip flooring and more.
OT services include:
Drafting concept drawings and scope of works
Liaison with builders and architects to obtain quotes
Attendance at site visits
Preparation of reports
Overseeing the modification process

Mental health
We support you with developing skills that will assist you to manage your mental health such as establishing positive habits and routines, medication management, sleep hygiene and structuring your day. We understand how issues with memory, concentration, motivation, sensory processing, low-mood and anxiety can impact your ability to undertake day-to-day activities. This can include catching up with family and friends, studying, working, taking care of yourself and others and participating in previously enjoyed activities. We work with you to develop and implement personalised strategies to help you to achieve your goals.

Assistive Technology (Equipment)
Through our assessments and clinical expertise, we can assist you to find the most suitable assistive technology to maximise your independence and safety while undertaking every day activities at home, work or in the community.

Paediatrics
Our Paediatric OT’s offer a range of services including within the home, the community, the kindergarten, school or via Telehealth. Our OTs work with clients of differing age ranges including infants, children and youth with varying needs.

Telehealth
We offer telehealth services which enable us to work with you in your home remotely using a tablet or other device. This enables us to understand your needs and assess the spaces in your home to determine suitable recommendations.

Pressure Care
We use standardised assessment tools along with our clinical observations to determine the most suitable cushion or mattress to suit your pressure care needs. We can provide strategies and education to prevent pressure injuries and manage existing problems.

SDA/SIL Assessments
We complete comprehensive allied health assessments to assist with determining SDA eligibility for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.
We work closely other services and supports to evaluate current abilities, support needs and recommendations for the future that will assist you to achieve your housing goals.

Community Access
We provide education and training on how to safely plan, access and navigate your way around in the community in a wheelchair, scooter or other mobility aid.
We assist with identifying the most suitable mobility aid for your needs and provide you with training and support so that you are able to access the community as independently as possible, with improved confidence.
OT services may also include boot cranes, portable ramps and scooter training/assessment.

Home Safety & Functional Assessments
We visit you in your home to understand the challenges you and your carers may be experiencing with your daily routines. These may include difficulties with your mobility, transfers, balance, hand / arm function, and access during showering, dressing and cooking. We assist to identify potential hazards and provide strategies and recommendations to maximise your safety and functional independence. Our experienced OTs are able to assist you with the following interventions:
Home modifications (minor such as grab rails or major such as widening doorways, remodelling bathroom/ kitchens/ installing lifts)
Sourcing and trialling appropriate assistive technology
Providing strategies and education for yourself and support workers/carers
Assisting with setting up suitable supports to keep you safe and in your home

Training
We provide training and education to carers, clients and families relating to safe use of their prescribed equipment and / or transfer technique.
We ensure that everybody involved in a person’s care is trained in how to use the equipment safely, adhering to correct manual handling techniques.
