Our founders/Senior Occupational Therapists Alana and Laura have created Independent OT with a mission to not only deliver the highest standard of care to people of all abilities across Melbourne and Adelaide, but to step away from the traditional OT business structure and create a new model built on trust and autonomy.

We are presenting a fresh, different OT employment opportunity. We don’t subscribe to KPIs, as we feel they only create unnecessary pressure and stress. Our founders believe that committed OTs deserve to be remunerated appropriately in recognition of their hard work, expertise and commitment to ongoing professional development.

We work on a very flexible model which allows you to build your own schedule, in suburbs that are convenient to you, during hours that allow you to maintain work/life balance. No fixed days are required, and you have the freedom to select when you work and to choose cases that are within areas of your clinical interests.

Our team offers teaching, training and mentoring from senior OTs with over 20 years of experience. Independent OT also believes that training is pivotal to providing the best current practices and OTs are compensated for training and meeting time.
